The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) has announced the list of 55 U.S., Canadian and Mexican National Team players that will be allocated to the eight clubs.

The Washington Spirit will host their second and final winter tryout for the 2013 USL W-League and Super-20 teams next Saturday January 12th at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, MD. Tryouts are slated to run from 8:00AM to 10:00AM on Soccerplex Field #20. Players must register in order to participate.

The Washington Spirit will make our first four draft picks in history on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, when the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft takes place as part of the NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis.

U.S. Soccer unveiled the name of the women’s professional league in which the Washington Spirit will play on national television Saturday during halftime of the final U.S. Women’s National team match of 2012.
