Whoooaaaaoooooo (x4)
When I see you Spirit
I go out of my head
I just can’t get enough
I just can’t get enough
All the things you do to me
And all the things you said
I just can’t get enough
I just can’t get enough
We slip and slip as we fall in love
And I just can’t seem to get enough of
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do
(player name) scored a goal, on you, on you
(player name) scored a goal, on YOU, on YOU
Now the ball’s in the back of the net
Do it again DC Spirit
And we all go marching down, the field, to score more goals
start of each game, SCARVES UP
When I root, I root for the Spirit…(repeat)
[Play-er], [Play-er], [Player] works harder than you,
[Play-er], [Play-er], [Player] works harderthan you!
Come on Spirit
Score a goal
It’s really very simple
Put the ball into the net
Before they blow the whistle
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
Oh Spirit you
You got what I need
But I really need a goal
But I really need a goal
End of each game, SCARVES UP
We love you Spirit, we do
We love you Spirit, we do
We love you Spirit, we do
Oh, Spirit we love you
In 2018, the Spirit Squadron began voting for a Player of the Match (POM) for all home games. A trophy, later named GiGi, was given to the player who, “left their mark that match with grit, heart, scrappiness, or awesome moves.” Every GiGi is made by one of Squadron’s members, Doug Horgan.
The original GiGi was similar to a Flat Stanley, the player of the match would take the statue home with them, take a picture with it and then bring it back for the next home match. Now two large GiGi’s are made for all the POM to sign (one for the team and one for Squadron) and a mini GiGi is made for each POM to take home. The Spirit Squadron Player of the Match is presented with GiGi at the end of each match at midfield.
Located in Section 138, the DC SCORES Young Supporters are an important part of the Spirit family and matchday experience. Modeled after the Supporters’ Section located in Sections 136-137, the DC SCORES Young Supporters make tifos, play drums, select a Player of the Match, and bring the energy to Audi Field.

If you do not have a smartphone, you will need to visit the Audi Field Box Office ticket window on matchday. Please have a valid ID for the name on the account.
Please contact us at 202-536-5999 or tickets@washspirit.com if you have any questions.
Audi Field is located at 100 Potomac Ave. SW, Washington D.C. 20024 and accessible via car, Metro or bike.
Audi Field can be accessed from both the Navy Yard-Ballpark and Waterfront Metrorail Stations. The Navy Yard Station has more capacity and sidewalk space with restaurants and bars along the route to the stadium. It is one stop on the Green Line from the Anacostia Metrorail Station where parking is available. If arriving at the Waterfront Station, please be mindful of noise in the residential neighborhood.
Parking is available for select matches at the Nationals Geico Garage at 1500 South Capitol Street SE. The cost to park is $50 and only credit/debit cards are accepted. The 600 spots will be used on a first-come, first-served basis starting two hours prior to kickoff and closing one hour after the match. No tailgating is allowed.
You can also book parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation’s leading parking reservations app. To reserve your parking spot for Washington Spirit games, visit the Audi Field SpotHero Parking Page and book a spot with rates up to 50% off drive-up.
Due to the high volume of traffic in the immediate area around Audi Field on match days, fans arriving via Rideshare will be directed to arrive near Nationals Park before a match. Following a match, fans will need to head back toward Nationals Park before hailing a ride on their app.
To get to the Rideshare Pickup Zone on Potomac Avenue, exit via Gate A and head right on Potomac Avenue towards Nationals Park.
No pick-ups are allowed on South Capitol Street.
Two Wheel Valet allows fans to store their bike during the match. The valet is at the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of 2nd and T St. The valet opens when gates open and will remain open at least one hour after the end of a match. Audi Field will also feature several docks for Lime bikes and e-scooters, along with several bike rack locations on the grounds.
A Capitol Bikeshare corral and general bicycle racks are also available around Audi Field.
To expedite entry into Audi Field, we strongly encourage fans not to bring bags to the stadium. If you must bring a bag to the stadium, it can be no larger than 14″ by 14″ by 6″. No backpacks, coolers or luggage are allowed. Cinch bags that fit the size restriction will be allowed.
Guests with a need for medical supplies, allergy exceptions, or other medical items should contact Audi Field’s Guest Experience team prior to the match for accommodations. Guests who arrive on match day with specific medical needs should speak with the Guest Experience Supervisor at the gate.
Audi Field has also partnered with Binbox Lockers to allow customers to rent lockers for $12 using a keyless locking system app.
Binbox’s free app is available in iOS or Android, and can be found in the App Store and on Google Play. The convenient app allows customers to quickly locate available locker units, pay with a credit card, and secure their belongings with Bluetooth technology. More information on Binbox Lockers can be found on their website: www.binboxlockers.com.
Diapers and wipes can be carried in any bag that meets our bag policy. Fans with medical needs or diaper bags should email Audi Field’s Guest Experience team prior to matchday to ensure a smooth and quick egress experience.
No. Umbrellas are not permitted. Guests who attempt to enter with an umbrella will be redirected to Binbox Lockers.
Yes—only one-piece, foam seat cushions with no covers are permitted as long as they do not exceed 16” wide and do not have armrests or a metal back.
Yes, blankets will be permitted. Fans will be able to bring blankets by tossing them over a shoulder or arm so that they can be easily screened.
Fans carrying bags that do not meet the bag policy criteria will be turned away from the stadium. Additionally, Binbox lockers will be available outside of the gates for fans to store their non-compliant bags.
There will be a separate entrance to allow screenings of these bags and medically necessary items. Fans with medical needs should email Audi Field’s Guest Experience team prior to matchday to ensure a smooth and quick egress experience.
To speed the security screening process, make sure that any bags being carried in meet Audi Field’s bag policy guidelines.
We will have dedicated no-bag and bag lanes at each gate to help streamline the process.
Remove any jackets or other large, bulky items from your bag and carry these in hand. When the contents of your bag are clearly visible, staff can screen bags without requiring any contents to be removed. If blankets or other items conceal the contents of a bag, staff must request that they be removed in order for screening to take place, delaying the process.
When approaching the metal detector, remove any keys, coins or other metal objects from your pockets and hold these in hand.
If at all possible, do not bring a bag with you! Guests without bags will experience a much quicker entry into the stadium.
