MATCHDAY GUIDE
For the first time, the Washington Spirit will play all 14 home matches at Audi Field in Buzzard Point, ensuring players and fans alike access to a facility befitting a professional club. Following a multi-year deal that makes Audi Field the permanent home for the Washington Spirit, the club has elevated its matchday offerings, including improved entertainment options and enhanced visual experiences.
Audi Field
Audi Field is home for the Spirit in downtown Washington, D.C. Completed on July 14, 2018, the Buzzard Point venue has a capacity of 20,000 with 1,500 club seats and 31 suites. In addition to Spirit and D.C. United home matches, Audi Field also hosts cultural events, community activities, and concerts. The Spirit Shop at the Club Store, adjacent to Gate A, is open during regular season matches at Audi Field.
Audi Field is a mobile-only venue. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket, if they are sitting on a parent/guardian’s lap.
ADA Info
If you are a fan with disabilities or special needs, please contact customerservice@washspirit.com three days in advance of matchday for assistance in coordinating travel.
The Spirit will provide a free courtesy shuttle to and from Audi Field that picks up from the south side of 55 M Street SE. This shuttle is only for fans with disabilities or mobility challenges. The Spirit will accommodate those who need the shuttle as well as one additional person to accompany them. If there is room, more members of a group may use the shuttle.
For accessible seating, guests may contact a Guest Experience Supervisor upon arrival to the stadium, or stop by the Guest Services Booth located inside Gate A. Tickets may also be purchased in advance via ticketmaster.com using the “accessibility” filter. When available, we will try to accommodate a guest with more than one (1) companion/escort into designated seating areas.
Bag Policy
To expedite entry into Audi Field, we strongly encourage fans not to bring bags to the stadium. If you must bring a bag to the stadium, it can be no larger than 14″ by 14″ by 6″. No backpacks, coolers or luggage are allowed.
Guests with a need for medical supplies, allergy exceptions, or other medical items should contact Spirit Customer Service prior to the match for accommodations. Guests who arrive on match day with specific medical needs should speak with the Guest Experience Supervisor at the gate.
Audi Field has also partnered with Binbox Lockers, a company that seeks to revolutionize the way customers rent lockers using a keyless locking system app.
Binbox’s free app is available in iOS or Android, and can be found in the App Store and on Google Play. The convenient app allows customers to quickly locate available locker units, pay with a credit card, and secure their belongings with Bluetooth technology. More information on Binbox Lockers can be found on their website: www.binboxlockers.com.
Digital Ticketing
All tickets will be accessed from a mobile device. Digital ticketing reduces the amount of fraud and gives fans the ability to conveniently manage their tickets on their phone.
If you do not have a smartphone, you will need to visit the Audi Field Box Office ticket window on matchday. Please have a valid ID for the name on the account.

Fans with sensory sensitivities have a place to go when a calming environment is needed, away from the visual and auditory stimulations of a matchday experience. Fans who need support can ask a member of Guest Services to be escorted to the KultureCity Sensory Room located at the Heineken rooftop.
Additionally, sensory bags are available to any guest who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Each bag is equipped with noise canceling headphones provide by Puro Sound Labs, fidget tools, verbal cue cards produced in conjunction with Boardmaker, and weight lap pads.
