The bar network will provide fans the opportunity to get together and cheer on the team during away matches
Washington, D.C. (04/29/2024) – The Washington Spirit has partnered with local establishments across the District to create the Spirit Bar Network. Fans will have a place to get together at an Official Spirit Watch Party at the Bar Network partners for all remaining away matches this season. In addition, the Bar Network will be home to Spirit-sponsored events throughout the year.
“We are committed to providing an incredible fan experience and this includes creating opportunities for fans when the team is away,” said Spirit Head of Fan Experience Donielle White. “We have a great relationship with our Bar Network Partners. We look forward to strengthening these connections and providing places for our fans to get together and enjoy.”
The Spirit Bar Network includes the following establishments:
The first Bar Network Official Spirit Watch Party will take place on Wednesday, May 1 at Solace Outpost when the Spirit heads to Chicago to take on the Red Stars at 8 p.m. ET. The next watch party will take place on Friday, May 4 at Dacha Beer Garden when the Spirit heads to Portland to take on the Thorns at 10 p.m. ET. On May 10, fans can meet at metrobar to cheer on the Spirit when the team takes on Racing Louisville FC at 8 p.m. ET. An updated list of away match watch parties can be found here.
