Boyds, MD (October 29, 2017) – Washington Spirit Academy Virginia and Maryland teams faced off in U.S. Soccer Girls’ Development Academy competition on Saturday at the Maryland SoccerPlex, in the first ever match-ups between the club’s two academy programs.
Washington Spirit Academy – Baltimore Armour teams earned wins in the U-14 and U-15 age groups, while the Spirit Academy – Virginia U-16/17 squad defeated their Maryland club mates 2-0.
