Boyds, MD., (6/13/19)- Washington Spirit Midfielder Chloe Logarzo has won Player of the Match for Australia’s 3-2 victory over Brazil.
Logarzo flexed her offensive skills throughout the game. In first-half stoppage time, Logarzo assisted Catalin Foord’s goal via a header for the Matildas first goal of the game. Logarzo would later add the highlight of her match with the first World Cup goal of her career. It appeared that Logarzo was looking for NWSL goal leader Sam Kerr streaking down the middle of the pitch, but the would-be pass beat out both Kerr and Brazilian keeper Barbara for the score.
Imagine counting @CLogarzo out. We couldn't.#AUSBRA #FIFAWWCpic.twitter.com/3OT8bRYpd6
