Everything you need to know about the Library Reading Program

The Washington Spirit are proud to partner with library systems across the D.C. metro area to bring the joys of reading to as many people as possible! Fans who complete their local library’s summer reading program are eligible to select up to two (2) complimentary Upper Gallery tickets for a 2026 regular season game at Audi Field. The participating libraries listed below will distribute ticket vouchers at their sole discretion, while supplies last. Please use the link below to redeem your voucher and select your game. Thank you for being an All-Star Summer Reader!

Winter Reading Program lasts until March 1st!

Alexandria Library challenges you to read, stay active, and engaged this winter. Complete activities to earn badges. Earn the reading badge and at least one other badge to complete the challenge and earn a completion prize and a chance to win.

Arlington County Public Library

Winter Reading Challenge from January 1st & ends on March 1st 2026.

Join Arlington County Public Library in their Winter Reading Challenge. Keep track of your reading, you can use the Library App or a Winter Reading bookmark, When you’ve read three books, visit your preferred Library location to claim your prize. Everyone can select from an assortment of prizes, and everyone who completes the Winter Reading challenge will be entered into a drawing.

Fairfax County Public Library

Starts Dec 1st and ends Jan 31st 2026.

Join Fairfax County Public Library for their Winter Reading Adventure, Read for the gold this winter! Participating in our Winter Reading Adventure is as easy as 1-2-3! Don’t want to use Beanstack? Paper logs will be available on December 1. Depending on your age, earn ten or fifteen virtual badges by reading or listening to books, reading for 20 or 30 minutes, completing activities or a combination of all three. We have age-appropriate reading goals for Birth-2nd Grade, 3rd-6th Grades, Teens and Adults. Once you have met the reading goals for your age/grade, visit your neighborhood library branch and receive prizes for finishing the program! Don’t have a Beanstack account? Create one now!

Prince George’s County Public Library

2026 Summer Reading - Coming Soon!

The Washington Spirit and Prince George’s County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) are excited to provide creative ways for Prince Georgians to stay connected with soccer and reading. More than a traditional summer reading program, SPG encourages children, teens and adults to read 30 minutes each day, attend library programs and explore the physical collection of materials, as well as a wide range of streaming movies and music in the 85+ online library resources. The Washington Spirit and PGCMLS are working together for a program for 2026, more details to come!
