The east coast rivalry match will now lead directly into coverage of the highly anticipated WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky in the mid-afternoon.

The Spirit will head north to take on rival NJ/NY Gotham FC next weekend in the second and final 2024 regular season match between the sides. In the first matchup on CBS, Washington secured a 2-0 victory behind a game-winning goal from standout rookie Croix Bethune and an insurance goal from the club’s all-time leading scorer, Ashley Hatch.
