After Friday night’s victory over the Seattle Reign, the Spirit entered a two-week break in NWSL competition on a three-match win streak. Now third in the league, the club is poised to continue its strong performance as it returns to action next week.

June 8: Away vs. Utah Royals

The Spirit will travel to Utah, the home state of stars Ashley Hatch and Courtney Brown, to face the Royals. In their last meeting on March 31, a converted penalty kick from Andi Sullivan and a header goal from Ouleye Sarr secured a 2-1 victory for the Spirit. Fans can expect another intense match as the Spirit aim to extend its win streak.
