Washington, D.C. (03/28/22) – U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski has named Spirit goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury, defender Kelley O’Hara, midfielders Ashley Sanchez and Andi Sullivan, and forwards Ashley Hatch and Trinity Rodman to the roster for two matches in April.

In the first-ever matches between the USA and Uzbekistan, the teams will meet on Saturday, April 9 at Field in Columbus, Ohio (5:30 p.m. ET on FOX and Univision Networks) and then again on Tuesday, April 12 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. (7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and Univision Networks).

O’Hara once again enters camp as the most capped player brought into camp with 150. Most recently, O’Hara appeared for the USWNT in her 150th cap during the SheBelieves Cup. For the Spirit in 2022, the Fayetteville, GA native has started both matches of the Challenge Cup.

Sullivan is headed into her sixth straight camp for the USWNT. During the SheBelieves Cup, Sullivan was one of five players that started all three matches. During the first two matches of the Challenge Cup, the Spirit captain started both games and went the full 90 against Gotham FC last weekend.

Hatch continued her strong scoring touch in 2022 with a goal during the second game of the SheBelieves Cup. In club play, the 2021 Golden Boot winner continued her great run of form as she came off the bench and scored in the second match of the Challenge Cup.

After making her debut for the USWNT at the end of 2021, Sanchez shot onto the scene in the 2022 SheBelieves Cup. A strong showing off the bench in match one earned her the first two starts of her young career.

Kingsbury will once again join the USWNT, her seventh callup to the senior team. Kingsbury is still looking for her first cap and joins Bella Bixby as the other uncapped goalkeeper behind Alyssa Naeher. In two games so far during the Challenge Cup, Kingsbury has only given up one goal, a penalty kick to fellow national team teammate Kristie Mewis in the 1-1 draw against Gotham.

Rodman will attend camp with the senior USWNT for the third time after a breakout rookie season in the NWSL. In 2021, Rodman was named NWSL Rookie of the Year and U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year. During her first season in the NWSL, Rodman scored six goals and six assists and became the youngest American player to score a goal in an NWSL debut.
