Washington, D.C., (03/16/2022) – The 2022 NWSL regular season calendar has been finalized as the league released the complete schedule today. The Washington Spirit will open the season at home against OL Reign on Sunday, May 1 and close out the season at home against Houston on Saturday, October 1.
Single match tickets for regular season home matches at Audi and Segra Field go on sale to the public on Wednesday, March 23 at 10 a.m. EST. Fans interested in single match tickets can register here for a chance to win presale access to purchase tickets before the general public.
A special discounted presale begins Monday, March 21 at 10 a.m. EST for current Spirit season ticket members. A link will be emailed to all members prior to the on-sale, providing access to the presale event. Fans can secure the best seats at the best prices for all regular season Spirit home matches through a Full 90 Club season ticket membership. Other highlights of the schedule include two rematches of the 2021 NWSL Championship Game in the first month of the season as the Spirit take on the Chicago Red Stars on the road on May 7 and at home on June 1. Washington will travel to expansion sides San Diego and Los Angeles for the first time ever this season as well, visiting the Wave on July 3 and Angel City on September 21.
The Spirit will face each of the other 11 NWSL clubs two times apiece in 2022, once at home and once on the road over the course of the five-month regular season. The 2022 regular season will air across The CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network and stream live on Paramount+. Twitch, the home for all internationally streamed matches, will also stream select games in the United States. Television details for regular-season matches will be shared in the coming weeks.
