Leesburg, Va., (02/03/21) – The Washington Spirit are proud to announce the renewal of the partnership with SpaceMaker Mobile Storage, first signed in 2019. The company will provide the Spirit with mobile self-storage and portable storage units throughout 2021.
SpaceMaker is a family business founded by Jim Layton, along with his brothers, Tim and Mike, and Tim’s wife, Jena. Jim, who has lived in the D.C. Metro area for almost 25 years, founded SpaceMaker knowing that there is a better, more cost-effective way to store and move and desired to provide that service to those in the local community.
“The Washington Spirit is a fantastic organization and we are very excited that we get to continue to play a role in their continued success. The Spirit has welcomed us with open arms and this is a great partnership for us. We are excited to see what the future holds.”
Operating in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, SpaceMaker is committed to providing safe, reliable and hassle-free solutions for those who express a desire for simpler living. They are dedicated to offering dependable and affordable storage units to those in the local community. The company turns what can be an expensive and time-consuming endeavor into a stress-free operation that saves clients time and money. SpaceMaker gives people time to pack their belongings and brings the mobile units to their secure storage facility with easy access.
Gretchen Hamm, Chief Growth Officer for the Spirit, said this about the partnership renewal: “Jim and his team at SpaceMaker have been a true partner and teammate to the Spirit. The move from our longtime home in Maryland to Loudoun County comes with many moving parts, thanks to Jim, everything went as smoothly as possible.”
