The 2016 NCAA Tournament enters the second and third round this weekend. The Spirit has a number of players who were on the Spirit Reserves and Spirit Collegiate Academy teams in 2016 whose colleges are battling for the national championship.
Although some matches start today, the tournament continues tomorrow Friday, November 18 for our #SpiritFamily players:
- University of Virginia (Annaugh Madsen) vs Penn State University (Kristin Schnurr / Brittany Basinger) 11am ET
- Florida State (Julia Phillips / Briana Alston) vs Utah 2pm ET
- Clemson (Lauren Harkes) vs Arkansas 3pm ET
- Duke (Elizabeth Raben / Krystyna Sikora / Kayla McCoy / Casey Martinez / Imani Dorsey / Mia Gyau) vs Illinois State 6pm ET
- University of Florida (Meggie Dougherty-Howard) vs Wisconsin 7pm ET
- NC State (Jackie Stengel) vs Pepperdine 7:30pm ET
The 11 a.m. University of Virginia vs Penn State University match is being held in Washington D.C. at Georgetown University, followed by another top match up between Georgetown and Rutgers at 1:30 p.m. Information about all of the matches can be found here.
