Sunday’s Fan Appreciation Night, presented by SNICKERS®, will be last chance to catch the Spirit play in DC this regular season

Washington, D.C. (10/15/2024) – The Washington Spirit celebrates Fan Appreciation Night, presented by SNICKERS®, this Sunday, October 20th at 5:00 p.m. EDT. This will be the last chance for fans to catch the Spirit at Audi Field during the 2024 regular season. Up against USWNT stars and gold medal winners – Mallory Swanson and Alyssa Naeher – and having already clinched a home quarterfinal playoff match, the Spirit is in position to maintain its #2 seed with hopes of hosting a semifinal as well.

Before the match, fans can join Spirit Squadron and other supporters at Solace Outpost and Dacha Beer Garden in Navy Yard for pre-match activities. Spirit Squadron will table and offer poster making stations. At 4:00 p.m., just an hour before the match, join Spirit Supporters and Pack Drumline as they march to Audi Field.

As gates open, early arriving fans will be able to collect limited quantity Washington Spirit x SNICKERS co-branded scarves. Season Ticket Members will have a chance to enter through a dedicated lane on the right side of Gate A. Game programs with a special centerfold “Rowdy Audi” photo collage, as well as a special letter to fans from Ashley Hatch, Aubrey Kingsbury, and Andi Sullivan will also be available.

Don’t miss an exclusive Fan Appreciation Night merch special! Fans that spend $100 at merch stands – located at Spiritville, in the Events DC Club, and around the concourse – will receive $10 off. Those who spend $200 get $25 off, while those spending $300 earns a $50 discount. Current Season Ticket Members will receive 20% off their orders and Half Season Members will receive 15% off.  Discounts will be available on the buy online, pick up in-stadium platform but cannot be combined or stacked.

The concourse for Sunday’s match will be lively as ever. SNICKERS will set up shop on the East Concourse near Gate B where complimentary SNICKERS, Milky Way, and M&M’S samples will be offered. Spiritville maintains its popular elements like EAFC stations, a PK Meet-and-Greet opportunity, Supporters tables, and a soft play zone. On the other side of Spiritville, ESPN 630 DC will offer its enter-to-win merchandise giveaway.

Rounding out Spiritville, the Smithsonian’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation at the National Museum of American History is inviting youth and families to practice their inventive problem solving through hands-on, STEM-focused activities connected to the center’s “Change Your Game” exhibit. Young inventors will have the opportunity to design an athletic shoe, build a sports stadium, and more!

Spirit Stage will host an unforgettable performance from popular DJ PEDRO NIGHT. Outside of Gate A, Sandlot Bar will be open and be accompanied by a performance by DJ Ebb King.

Finally, watch out for special activations from Fanatics Sportsbook. Pregame, $500 in Fan Cash is on the line during a trivia game, while at halftime, a fan will have the chance to kick for $500.

After the match, fans can show their matchday ticket at the Dacha Beer Garden host stand to receive a voucher for a $5 Dachnik Original Helles Pint (one promotional pint per ticket).

 

Tickets Still Available

Make sure to get tickets for Sunday’s match soon! Available until Wednesday at 11:59 p.m., the Spirit is offering a Fan Appreciation special, a Student Ticket deal with tickets starting at just $10 and $12, respectively, as well as a $15 Ticket + Drink package.

Additionally, the Spirit is hosting the first-ever Barbie Game Day™ this Sunday which features a special ticket deal that includes a Barbie belt bag. Single game buyers looking to partake in Barbie Game Day on October 20 can purchase tickets as low as $39, while groups of 10 or more can score deals as low as $34. Additionally, Season Ticket Members are able to add the Barbie package to their pre-existing tickets for only $20.

Two-match ticket bundles are now on sale for the 2024 NWSL Playoffs at Audi Field! Fans can secure their seat now for the Spirit’s home quarterfinal match the weekend of November 8-10 and for a potential semifinal match the weekend of November 15-17. Learn more at WashingtonSpirit.com/playoffs.

 

Guest Services

Several services are offered at Washington Spirit games. Mamava nursing pod for parents are located near Guest Services inside Gate A. Fans with sensory sensitivities are welcome at the KultureCity sensory room and can pick up sensory bags by visiting Guest Services. Transportation

Parking will be made available for guests at the GEICO Parking Garage on 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C, 20003. The garage will open at 3 p.m. and will close approximately one hour after the event. There will be 600 spaces available on a first come, first serve basis and will cost guests $50. No tailgating will be allowed, and only credit/debit is accepted.

Fans are encouraged to use public transportation on matchday, disembarking at either the Navy Yard-Ballpark or Waterfront Metrorail Stations. The Navy Yard Station has more capacity and is located just one stop away on the Green Line from the Anacostia Metrorail Station where parking is also available. Fans can also use the ADA shuttle that runs from Navy Yard Metro to Audi Field starting pregame and running through postgame.
