Washington, D.C., (03/18/2022) – The Washington Spirit have two new kits and a new slogan for the upcoming season, the club revealed today.
Both kits feature one noteworthy change to the Spirit crest with a star representing the club’s first NWSL championship located at the top. One kit, the Community Kit, will serve as the team’s Challenge Cup kit while the other, designated as the 10-Year Anniversary Kit, will be worn throughout the regular season. The Community Kit features the logo of club Community Partners DC Scores across the chest and WAGS on the right sleeve.
Throughout the 2022 season, Washington will rally behind the words “One Spirit.” Meant to signify the team and community’s common commitment to representing the nation’s capital, One Spirit will headline Washington’s attempt to defend its 2021 title.
