Boyds, MD., (4/14/2020) – The Washington Spirit have agreed to a partnership with SuperFD Catering through the 2020 NWSL season. SuperFD will provide the Spirit players with daily meal service throughout the year. This partnership is another step towards providing Spirit players with the first-class services they need to perform at the highest level.
SuperFd was founded with a mission to provide the highest quality catering to their community and their athletes. SuperFD’s chefs and staff incorporate organic ingredients and sustainable practices into their crowd-pleasing menus presented with style and sophistication. SuperFD is headquartered in Washington D.C., with kitchens across the country in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego and New York. The Spirit join the Washington Capitals, Nationals and Wizards as official SuperFD partners.
Spirit Head Coach Richie Burke said this on the partnership: “I can’t say enough good things about our new catering service, SuperFD. From the first minute they provided lunches to our playing staff in preseason through to their door-to-door delivery service to our players during this COVID-19 crisis, they have been absolutely brilliant.”
