Boyds, Md. (February 22, 2019) – Tickets are officially on sale for Washington’s regular season Home Opener, coming up April 13 against Sky Blue FC at the Maryland SoccerPlex. [TICKETS]
In addition, the Spirit has launched a pre-sale for the club’s final 11 regular season home games. Pre-orders will be accepted through March 4.
Following the club’s home opener, the Spirit will be on the road against the Utah Royals in a game at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The Spirit will be back at the Maryland Soccerplex against Reign FC on May 4.
Washington boasts one of the league’s most exciting young rosters, including U.S. international forward Mallory Pugh, 2018 NWSL No. 1 overall draft pick and U.S. international midfielder Andi Sullivan, and U.S. international midfielder Rose Lavelle.
The Spirit will host an exciting preseason matchup against James Madison University on March 16. In partnership with the Richmond Kickers, the match will serve as the marquee game during the weekend’s prestigious Jefferson Cup Girls Weekend, which will host more than 5,000 players and over 350 participating teams. In addition, the Spirit will be host Girondins de Bordeaux, a club from the highest division of women’s football in France, on March 23 for the club’s 2019 SoccerPlex debut game.
