BOYDS, Md. (Sept. 13, 2013) – The Washington Spirit announced today the club has loaned forward Jasmyne Spencer to Apollon LFC, which plays in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Spencer, 23, started 3 games for the Spirit and appeared in 9 during the 2013 regular season. She will rejoin the UEFA Women’s Champion League where she previously played for Danish club, Brondby, after graduating from University of Maryland.
“We wish Jasmyne all the best during her loan spell and will look forward to cheering her on with Apollon LFC.” Spirit Head Coach Mark Parsons commented.
Spencer will arrive in Cyprus to join into Apollon’s preparations for the UEFA WCL, which is already underway.
