As one of the most decorated rookies in NWSL history, appeared in 17 matches before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Tallied five goals and ten assists, tying the league’s single season assists record (Tobin Heath, 2016). Scored the stoppage time game-winner, her first professional goal, in the March 23 home opener against Bay FC. Again scored a result-changing goal in stoppage time of the June 15 sellout at Audi Field against San Diego, salvaging a draw for the Spirit. Named the NWSL’s Rookie of the Month four times (March/April, May, June, August) before being named the Rookie of the Year. Named to the league’s Best XI of the Month three times (March/April, May, June) before being named to the year-end Best XI First Team. Won the NWSL’s inaugural Midfielder of the Year award.
2024
Appeared in three matches for the U.S. Women’s National Team. Earned her first senior team call-up for the squad’s May/June camp as a training player. Named as an alternate for the Olympic team. Made her senior team debut during the July 13 friendly against Mexico. Named to the matchday rosters for the U.S.’s three Olympic group stage matches, making her eligible for a gold medal. Appeared in the July 31 Olympic match against Australia.
2019-2023
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA & UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA:
A standout midfielder for two programs – University of Southern California (2019-2022) & University of Georgia (2023) – during her five-year collegiate career. Following an injury her freshman season, earned three consecutive First Team All-Pac 12 (2020-2022) honors and culminated her career with a Second Team All-SEC recognition in 2023. Won Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year award in back-to-back season (2021-2022) and was celebrated as a MAC Hermann Semifinalist in 2021. Finished collegiate career as the SEC Tournament MVP in 2023.
