The Washington Spirit announced today the signing of United States U-20 National Team forward Alex Doll to the 2013 reserves roster. A current standout at Stanford University, Doll is expected to bolster the Spirit Reserves offense for the upcoming season.

After months of excitement surrounding the launch of a new league and franchise, the Washington Spirit will officially open their National Women’s Soccer League season on Sunday in Boston, taking on the Breakers for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Dilboy Stadium that will be streamed live at www.youtube.com/bostonbreakerstv.

The Washington Spirit have signed forward Jasmyne Spencer, finalizing the roster in advance of their National Women’s Soccer League season opener at the Boston Breakers on April 14, pending final league approval of required paperwork.
