The Washington Spirit announced today that the club has signed midfielder Tori Huster to a new contract for 2015. Per team and league policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Huster, 25, started 22 games for the Spirit in 2014. In her team-leading 1,980 minutes played, the Florida State alum contributed one goal and one assist to the Spirit offense.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Huster also led Washington in minutes played during the 2013 season with 1,890. In her 21 matches played, Huster scored one goal.
Huster also started in the Spirit’s 2-1 semifinal loss to Reign FC in the 2014 NWSL Playoffs.
Huster is currently on loan with the Newcastle Jets in Australia and will return to Washington prior to the start of the 2015 NWSL season.
