Hudson will remain with the USL Super League side through the end of 2024

 

Washington, D.C. (09/23/2024) – The Washington Spirit has loaned defender Waniya Hudson to Dallas Trinity FC of the USL Super League through the end of the 2024 calendar year, the club announced today. Hudson joined the Spirit in May on a one-year deal.

Originally from Greece, New York near Rochester, Hudson attended the University of Notre Dame. She was one of the most consistent players on the Fighting Irish roster in her time with the program, tallying nearly 7,400 minutes of actions and appearing in 96 matches across five seasons with the program. Notre Dame made four NCAA Tournament appearances during Hudson’s tenure, including an Elite Eight run in 2022.
