With support from CVS Health, the Spirit will offer unforgettable activations and “black out” CVS Health rally towels in a must-win match versus Kansas City.
Washington, D.C. (09/26/2023) – As the Washington Spirit hosts the KC Current this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. EDT, fans should follow one rule: Wear black. In this black out of Audi Field, CVS Health presents, “Health is Our Goal Night” for this must-win match for the Spirit. The theme night supported by CVS Health will feature special activations and a focus on better health for all.
CVS will bring its Project Health Experience to Audi Field where fans can receive free health screenings with no insurance required. CVS will also host a spin-to-win station, a photobooth, and a SWAG table with CVS-branded wellness gift bags. Additionally, CVS Health partners, American Heart Association and Capital Area Food Bank, will table at Spiritville.
Saturday also marks the final collection date for the sports bra donation led by CVS Health in conjunction with Spirit community partner, Leveling the Playing Field (LPF). Fans will find marked donation bins throughout the stadium upon entry. Those wishing to participate should donate only new sports bras sized small, medium, or large. Additionally, fans can support the cause through an online donation.
Look out for some once-in-a-lifetime sweepstakes experiences being offered by the Spirit ahead of Saturday’s match. Have a child that loves the Spirit? Enter to win four tickets, four pregame field passes, a tour of the press box, and admission to the post-game press conference for Saturday’s match where your child can ask the coach or a player a question. Most notably, the Spirit is offering a sweepstakes to win a chance to see the Spirit play OL Reign in Megan Rapinoe’s final home match in front of a record crowd in Seattle, Washington. On the concourse, keep an eye out at merchandise stands throughout the venue as Saturday’s “Item of the Game” – a black Spirit wordmark t-shirt – will be 15% off. If you forget to wear black or don’t have any black Spirit merch, stop by the merch stand and help black out Audi Field.
Prior to the match, Pedro Night, DMV-based DJ-extraordinaire will be holding down the Spirit Stage from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. EDT. On the field, CVS Health will select an honorary captain to represent its “Health is Our Goal Night” and will also present a CVS Helping Hands award. The national anthem will be sung by Dana Nearing with ASL-translation support from Gallaudet University, while the US Naval Sea Cadets will serve as the Color Guard.
Tickets Still Available
Tickets start at just $15 for Sunday’s match against the KC Current. As always, the Spirit’s expanded premium seating brings fans pitch side for an unparalleled experience.
For $15, fans can purchase a ticket + beer special. This phenomenal offer is limited, so make sure to get it before it goes. This ticket package includes one ticket to Saturday’s match plus your choice of a Topo Chico Seltzer, Heineken Silver, or soft beverage.
Back by popular demand, $99 Unlimited Food & Drink Club tickets are here to stay for the 2023 season. These tickets come with a club level seating ticket package that includes a premium buffet as well as bottomless beer, wine, and fountain drinks. This deal gives fans access to the air-conditioned EagleBank Club and preferred seating options. Fans who purchase these tickets will be met with a number of exciting amenities, including face painters and chalkboard murals.
College students are also eligible for $5 tickets. Bring a college ID or purchase online with a .edu email address to redeem the tickets.
Main Concourse
On the East Concourse, Spiritville returns with a FIFA Lounge, allowing fans to play as their favorite Spirit players. The kid’s zone, where the youngest fans can safely play on a soft play area or enjoy foosball, face painters, a kick zone, a chalkboard mural and more, will be expanded for this match.
Fans can pose with friends for photos in the CVS Photo Booth or design a personal memento at a friendship bracelet station.
Guest Services
Introduced this season for the first time at Audi Field, the Washington Spirit, in partnership with D.C. United, introduced a Mamava nursing pod this season for parents on the East Concourse. The private, sanitary space provides comfortable seating and power outlets for pumping equipment. Keyless entry and vacancy alerts are available by downloading the Mamava app.
New this season, fans are able to communicate with Audi Field officials via text with any questions, concerns or emergencies at the following number: 202-918-3838. All ticketed fans will also receive a post-match survey following each game to allow the club to offer continual improvements on the matchday experience.
Parking
Additional parking will be made available for guests at the GEICO Parking Garage on 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C, 20003. The garage will open at 5:00 p.m. and will close approximately one hour after the event. There will be 600 spaces to be utilized on a first come, first serve basis and will cost guests $50. No tailgating will be allowed, and only credit/debit is accepted.
