Boyds, MD., (10/23/20) – The Washington Spirit is teaming up with their Official Health and Wellness Partner CVS Health to distribute Boo-Bags to Spirit community partners Comfort Cases, the Youth Leadership Foundation and DC SCORES. The bags are a family-friendly and socially distanced solution to traditional trick-or-treating in the time of COVID-19.
“We are delighted to spread Halloween cheer in a new way and ‘Boo’ our friends and neighbors with the Spirit,” said Danielle Futrell, Director of Marketing, CVS Health.
The bags will be filled with candy courtesy of The Hershey Company. The Boo-Bags will be distributed in an effort to ensure health and safety while also promoting the surprise and delight of the season.
“We are grateful to CVS Health and The Hershey Company for helping us provide a little happiness this Halloween for our community partners,” said Spirit Chief Communications Officer Nicole Hawkins. “During this challenging time, we are thankful to have the opportunity to partner with companies that understand the importance of supporting kids in our community.”
