Leesburg, Va., (05/14/21) – The Washington Spirit is proud to announce the renewal of their sponsorship agreement with Progressive for the 2021 season. Progressive will be the Official Auto and Home Insurance Sponsor of the Washington Spirit. Progressive is the third largest auto insurer in the country and a leading seller of motorcycle and commercial auto insurance, and one of the top homeowners insurance carriers.
“Progressive is excited to continue our support of the Washington Spirit,” said Jay VanAntwerp, Media Business Leader at Progressive. “We admire the Spirit’s commitment to making an impact in the community and dedication to success on the field. We’re proud to align our brand with an organization that shares our values and look forward to watching the club compete for NWSL Championship in 2021.”
As part of the agreement, Progressive’s name and branding will once again be featured prominently on the yoke of the Washington Spirit’s 2021 home and away kits for all matches. In 2020, Progressive became the Spirit’s first-ever corporate partner to occupy the yoke of a Spirit kit. In the stadium, Progressive will have signage at all home games at both Audi Field and Segra Field.
