Boyds, MD., (6/22/20) – The Washington Spirit are proud to announce a new sponsorship with Progressive Insurance through 2020 and including the upcoming 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup.
Progressive’s name and branding will be featured prominently on the yoke of the Washington Spirit’s 2020 home and away kits for all 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup matches. Progressive will become the Spirit’s first-ever corporate partner to occupy the yoke of a Spirit kit.
Additionally, Progressive will have a presence at all of the Spirit’s 2020 Challenge Cup games via banners and signage on-location at Zions Bank Stadium, and in Spirit Media video content surrounding coverage of the Challenge Cup.
Washington Spirit Majority Owner Steve Baldwin had this to say on the sponsorship: “We are excited to welcome Progressive Insurance to the Spirit family and are proud to have their logo on our jersey. The Washington Spirit will begin play in the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup against Utah Royals FC on June 30 at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, UT.
