Boyds, Md., (12/19/19) – The Washington Spirit hosted the third session of their new Advanced Development Program (ADP) at the Maryland SoccerPlex on December 18th. The Spirit hosted 20 players at the ADP Training Center as part of Project “Change the Game Now.”

The session was run by our Pro Team Technical Staff with Head Coach Richie Burke, Coach Tom Torres and High-Performance Coach Michael Minthorne, while Coach KJ Spisak was in charge of the Goalkeeper Training. Todd Bramble, Youth National Team Network Scout, was also in attendance of the training session on behalf of U.S. Soccer.

Players attending this program get to experience what it is like to train in a professional environment. From locker room set up to training plan, meal after the training session joined by a classroom session run by our CEO Larry Best, and Head Coach Richie Burke, players experience the daily professional player experience.

We are looking forward to working with these and other Top Elite Athletes in the market in 2020. Our next ADP will be at the 2020 United Soccer Convention in Baltimore, MD in January.
