Washington, D.C. (04/23/2024) – The United State Women’s National Team (USWNT) will play its 2024 Olympic Send-Off Match, presented by Coca-Cola, at southwest Washington, D.C.’s Audi Field on Tuesday, July 16, U.S. Soccer announced today. Facing Costa Rica, the USWNT roster for this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris will have taken final form.

Washington Spirit season ticket members will have early access to tickets for this match beginning Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. EDT. Members will receive an email with their ticketing link and access code Thursday morning prior to the presale.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. EDT.

This match will mark the second all-time match for the USWNT at Audi Field. Most recently, the USWNT played an international friendly at Audi Field in September 2022, when the side defeated Nigeria in one of its first contest since returning home from the Concacaf W Championship. On the current Spirit roster, six players have earned call-ups to the USWNT: goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart, forward Ashley Hatch, goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury, defender Casey Krueger, forward Trinity Rodman and midfielder Andi Sullivan. Krueger and Rodman represented the Spirit at this year’s Concacaf W Gold Cup as well as the latest SheBelieves Cup.

The USWNT recently won the 2024 SheBelieves Cup, the federation’s seventh title in the annual tournament, by defeating Japan and Canada earlier this month. After a 2-1 victory over Japan in the tournament’s semifinal, the United States took down Canada in penalty kicks to claim the championship. This year’s SheBelieves Cup was the ninth edition of the annual tournament. France (2017) and England (2019) are the tournament’s only other winners.

The Washington Spirit’s next home match is on Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. against the Orlando Pride. Fans can purchase tickets here. Season memberships including full season, half season and mini plans are available here and individual match tickets here.
