We break down everything you need to know ahead of Friday’s In Spirit of Service match vs Houston Dash:

📅 SCHEDULE:

6:30 PM – Gates open

7:20 PM – Warm-ups begin

8:00 PM – Kickoff


 

HEAT ADVISORY: An extreme heat advisory is in effect for Friday’s match. When a heat advisory is in effect, fans are able to bring in one factory-sealed 20oz water bottle inside the stadium.

Before Arriving

💦 KEEPING COOL: fans are encouraged to take advantage of the following options to keep cool:

  • Water monsters with free water will be available near Spiritville for fans to use.
  • Cooling fans will be added throughout the stadium at all gates and Spiritville. Fans can also bring personal neck or handheld fans to keep cool.
  • Fans can bring personal cooling towels that can be refreshed with cold water available at the stadium.

🎒 REVIEW THE BAGGAGE POLICY: Bags must be smaller than 14″ by 14″ by 6″, and no backpacks, coolers, or luggage are allowed. With the heat advisory, allowed items have been adjusted to include one factory-sealed 20oz water bottle per fan. This does not include hard-sided plastic or metal reusable water bottles.

🥁 MARCH TO THE MATCH: Due to the heat advisory, fans interested in marching to the match should meet supporters inside of Gate A starting at 7:15 PM before taking off to march around the concourse at 7:25 PM.

❇️ ROOFTOP: The Heineken Rooftop will be open to fans before and during the match.

 

📣 HALFTIME: Enjoy a firework and laser show* to celebrate Independence Day Weekend and In Spirit of Service Night!

 

💫 SPIRITVILLE: Located on the East Concourse, Spiritville will feature face painting, a new augmented reality experience, soccer bowling, and more.

*The laser show will not feature flashing lights like previous light shows at Audi Field.

🛍️ HOW TO GET YOURS: Purchase during the game at the following merch locations: Spiritville, Section 130, Club Level, or Section 119.

If you placed an online order for in-stadium pickup, please use the designated line at the Spirit Shop location in Spiritville to collect your order, and please have your order confirmation number ready.

 

👚 KIT CUSTOMIZATION: Drop off your jersey by 8:00 PM on July 3 at the match for same-day customization to include any of the Spirit player’s name and number.

Post-Match

🔒 ACCESS: For the safety of players and guests, only Premium ticketholders (F1-12, C1-9, and S1-31) are allowed in sections F1-F12 along the east sideline after the match. General ticketholders wanting to get closer to the field after the match can head to sections 135-138. Learn more >


 

Transportation

🚅 METRO: Audi Field can be accessed from both the Navy Yard-Ballpark and Waterfront stations. The ADA shuttle will run from the west entrance to the Audi Field Club Shop on a continuous 15-30 minute loop, starting an hour before kickoff and ending an hour after the match.Parking is available at the Anacostia station, just one stop away on the Green Line.

 

🚗 PARKING: Members, make sure to book your parking ahead of time with your member discount code through SpotHero.

 

🚲 BIKING: Two Wheel Valet allows fans to store their bikes during the match. The valet is at the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of 2nd and T St. The valet opens when gates open and will remain open at least one hour after the end of a match.

KULTURECITY SENSORY ROOM: Fans with sensory sensitivities can take a break from the visual and auditory stimulations of matchday in the KultureCity Sensory Room, located on the Heineken Rooftop. 

 

SENSORY BAGS: Additionally, sensory bags are available while supplies last at Guest Services for any guest who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Each bag is equipped with noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue cards.
