Unbeatable ticket promotions and brand-new giveaways work in conjunction with impactful theme nights to create an incomparable atmosphere at Audi Field this season
Washington, D.C. (03/15/2024) – The Washington Spirit announced its promotional schedule in anticipation of the 2024 NWSL season and corresponding with its theme night schedule. The Spirit has scheduled ten giveaways throughout the season, including notable accessories such as Spirit-branded crossbody bags, Pride-themed bucket hats, and scarves. Additional promotions or giveaways will be announced at a later date.
Themes & Giveaways
As a welcome back to Audi Field for the 2024 season, fans who attend the home opener on Saturday, March 23 against Bay FC will receive a Spirit schedule magnet while supplies last. Additionally, the club’s latest cherry blossom merchandise collection will be unveiled and available for purchase, just in time for peak bloom.
Pride Night is back and better than ever. On Saturday, June 29, Pride-themed bucket hats will be given to fans, coinciding with the release of a new line of Pride merchandise. Fans may also redeem the $15 ticket-and-a-drink promotion at the match against the North Carolina Courage.
Pitchside Pups (May 24) also returns to Audi Field with a bandana giveaway and a $20 ticket for fans and their dogs. Those tickets will be available at a later date.
New celebrations this season include Women’s Empowerment Day (Sunday, March 31) and Juneteenth: Celebrating Black DC Culture (Saturday, June 15). Women’s Empowerment Day will feature a crossbody bag giveaway, and the Spirit’s Juneteenth game will offer a complimentary beer special and feature specialty merch items.
The Spirit also added Superhero Night to its 2024 theme night calendar. Taking place on Friday, April 26 against the Orlando Pride, Superhero Night will feature the team’s largest giveaway of the season – Spirit-specific Superhero Posters. Additional and exciting details regarding this theme night will be announced closer to the game.
Notably, the Spirit will be partnering with four of its closest partners to deliver an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for fans. Kicking Women’s Cancer Night presented by Inova (Saturday, April 20) will feature a call for fans to “blackout” Audi Field and a mini scarf giveaway. Free tote bags will be given to fans on DC Ward Day presented by CareFirst (Sunday, August 25), and CVS Health Night (Saturday, September 15) returns with rally towels for fans who pack Audi Field, while a Spirit scarf giveaway highlights Fan Appreciation Night presented by Snickers (Sunday, October 20) – the final home match of the 2024 season. All giveaways will be available as supplies last.
Ticketing Promotions
Familiar ticketing promotions such as $5 college student tickets and discounted first responder/military tickets, redeemed through GovX, will remain throughout all home matches during the 2024 season. Service members can also buy one ticket, get one ticket free for Salute to Service (May 18).
The newest ticketing special the Spirit will release in 2024 is a $38 value pack which includes two tickets, two hot dogs, two bags of chips, and two waters. This special will be available on Salute to Service Night (May 18), Disability Awareness Night (September 7), and Hispanic Heritage Night (October 13).
Home Opener
The Spirit is gearing up to kick off its 2024 season home schedule on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. against one of the NWSL’s new expansion clubs Bay FC. For a limited time, fans can buy two tickets to the match here and receive a promotional code for two free Spirit Bowls from South Block after the match.
