2023 Matchday Information 

 

Washington, D.C. (08/23/2023) – The Washington Spirit returns to Audi Field after nearly a month to face the Portland Thorns in an epic regular season showdown between the 2021 and 2022 NWSL Champions. Women’s Empowerment Night, sponsored by Women and Girls in Soccer (WAGS), will celebrate equality and inclusion for all women in soccer and beyond.  

 

Arrive early to Sunday’s game and enjoy $2 beers. This phenomenal offer will extend one hour after gates open (3:30 – 4:30 p.m. EDT) and applies to canned beers and seltzers. Offer available at all beer locations throughout the stadium.

 

Also on Sunday, 2024 Season Ticket Memberships go on sale to the general public with a historic two-years-for-the-price-of-one offer for all premium seats on the club and field levels. This unbeatable special requires an opt in for both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Membership Services and Sales representatives will set up throughout the concourse to answer any questions and assist any interested fans in purchasing memberships. Partnering with CVS Health and Leveling the Playing Field (LPF), the Spirit are continuing to collect sports bras at Sunday’s match. Fans will find marked donation bins throughout the stadium upon entry. Fans wishing to participate should donate only new sports bras sized small, medium, or large. This initiative follows a successful 2022 campaign as a part of the Nationwide Community Impact Program. Fans may also donate sports bras on the September 30 game at Audi Field as well.  

 

Back by popular demand, $99 Unlimited Food & Drink Club tickets are here to stay for the 2023 season. These tickets come with a club level seating ticket package that includes a premium buffet as well as bottomless beer, wine, and fountain drinks. This deal gives fans access to the air-conditioned EagleBank Club and preferred seating options. Fans who purchase these tickets will be met with several exciting amenities, including entertainment from the Say What Again cover band.  

 

Jenna Raine, who sings the hit single “It Is What It Is”, will take the Spirit Stage near Gate A at 4:00 p.m. EDT. The up-and-coming artist has already amassed over 100 million steams on Spotify. Sela Campbell, who won the 2023 Best of Loudon Musician/Band Award, will open for Jenna at 3:30.

 

Keep your eyes to the sky before kickoff, as the Joint Base Andrews First Helicopter Squadron will be making a flyover of Audi Field. This unforgettable moment will follow other on-field pregame festivities including Jenna Raine singing the National Anthem. 

 

 

Tickets Still Available 

Tickets start at just $15 for Sunday’s match against the League-leading Portland Thorns. As always, the Spirit’s expanded premium seating brings fans pitch side for an unparalleled experience.  

 

Additionally, fans can purchase individual tickets in the field-side cabanas. For just $85, fans will be granted access to the most unique experience in Audi Field. Whether you want a field side drink or want to stand field level, these seats have it all! 

 

College students are also eligible for $5 tickets. Bring a college ID or purchase online with a .edu email address to redeem the tickets. 

 

Main Concourse 

On the East Concourse, Spiritville returns with a FIFA Lounge, allowing fans to play as their favorite Spirit players. The kid’s zone, where the youngest fans can safely play on a soft play area or enjoy foosball, a kick zone, a chalkboard mural and more, will be expanded for this match.  

 

Fans can pose with friends for photos in the CVS Photo Booth or make a personal memento at a friendship bracelet making station.  

 

Guest Services 

Introduced this season for the first time at Audi Field, the Washington Spirit, in partnership with D.C. United, introduced a Mamava nursing pod this season for parents on the East Concourse. The private, sanitary space provides comfortable seating and power outlets for pumping equipment. Keyless entry and vacancy alerts are available by downloading the Mamava app. 

 

New this season, fans can communicate with Audi Field officials via text with any questions, concerns or emergencies at the following number: 202-918-3838. All ticketed fans will also receive a post-match survey following each game to allow the club to offer continual improvements on the matchday experience. 

 

Parking 

Additional parking will be made available for guests at the GEICO Parking Garage on 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C, 20003. The garage will open at 3:00 p.m. and will close approximately one hour after the event. There will be 600 spaces to be utilized on a first come, first serve basis and will cost guests $50. No tailgating will be allowed, and only credit/debit is accepted.
