Washington, D.C., (04/13/2022) – The Washington Spirit and District Sports are proud to announce a new partnership for the 2022 NWSL season as part of the Spirit’s Alliance Partnership Program.
“Having District Sports as an Alliance Partner allows us to come together and achieve our shared goal: to help build awareness and visibility of as well as enthusiasm for women’s soccer in DC,” said Ana Mayoral, Adult/Youth Programming Director for the Washington Spirit. “Together, we will be able to increase and improve fan experience across the board.”
Alex Bearman, Executive Director for District Sports said: “We are so pleased to formalize our relationship with the Spirit. Over the past five years we have focused on growing opportunities for women to play the game here in the District and this alliance will inject additional excitement and energy into those efforts. We look forward to what lies ahead.”
