Boyds, Md., (7/16/2019) – The Washington Spirit are hosting their first-ever First Responders’ Night on July 20 against the Houston Dash. The Spirit are hosting several special events and features exclusive to First Responders’ Night. [TICKETS]
As the Spirit previously announced, Wegmans Food Market has agreed to sponsor the Hospitality suite for First Responders’ Night. The agreement will have Wegmans provide the first 120 first responders to visit the suite with beverages. This partnership is the first of its kind for the Spirit.
First Responders also will be honored at halftime with a video and serve as the Color Guard for the game-opening. The Washington Spirit donated 100 tickets to the game to award-winning First Responders as selected by the Germantown-Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to First Responders Night, all six Spirit players who participated in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be present for the first time this season. All World-Cup players will be available post-game to sign autographs and will be honored postgame for their outstanding achievements.
Kickoff at the Maryland SoccerPlex is set for 7:00 p.m. ET, with Gate D and the Fan Zone opening at 5:30 p.m. ET for all ticket-holding fans. First Responders can get $10 off Hill/General Admission tickets by using the code 1STRESPONDERS at checkout. [TICKETS]
