Boyds, Md., (7/8/2019) – Washington Spirit keeper Aubrey Bledsoe has been nominated for the NWSL’s Save of the Week award for her stop against the Orlando Pride in the 60th minute last Saturday.
After Pride forward Rachel Hill found herself with space on the left flank, she cut the ball back to her right foot and sent in a dangerous ball towards the box. Pride defender Toni Pressley connected on the cross with a header that she sent rocketing towards goal, only for it to be somehow tipped over the bar after an incredible reaction save by Bledsoe.
