Boyds, Md. (Sept. 13, 2018) – Take a behind-the-scenes look at the Washington Spirit’s historic NWSL debut at the brand new Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
The Spirit hosted Portland Thorns FC on August 25, 2018 in the NWSL Game of the Week on ESPNEWS in front of a club record crowd of nearly 8,000 fans. It was the first women’s soccer match held at D.C. United’s recently opened soccer specific stadium in Southwest D.C.
