Washington’s offense has found the net at least once in every game this season, and the club is tied for third in both total goals (6) and goals per game (1.5).
Bledsoe’s 26 saves this season is exactly double the next-leading NWSL goalkeeper. The 26-year-old Cincinnati native has earned an NWSL Save of the Week nomination in each of the first four weeks of the regular season, and won the award for the first time in Week 4.
The Nigerian international forward has found the back of the net in each of Washington’s past two games, including a vital first half strike in the club’s 1-1 draw on the road last Friday night against Portland Thorns FC.
Dydasco has played every minute this season through four games on the Spirit back line, and has intercepted an average of four passes by opposing players.
The revamped Spirit attack has racked up 38 total shots, 20 of which have been on target through four games. Washington’s 52.6 percent shooting accuracy is good for third in the NWSL.
