Boyds, MD (June 26, 2017) – Washington Spirit forward Francisca Ordega has been nominated for the NWSL Goal of the Week for her breakaway strike in the 19th minute of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Portland Thorns FC.
The goal, which proved to be the game-winner for the Spirit, was Ordega’s team-leading fourth score of the season.
