Spirit players Ali Krieger and goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris, both of the Washington Spirit, are expected to suit up for Tyresö FF today as the Swedish side takes on Fortuna Hjørring from Denmark.
Both Krieger and Harris played important roles for Tyresö’s in the team’s scoreless draw in the second leg of a Round of 32 matchup against Paris Saint-Germain and fellow U.S. Women’s National Team player Tobin Heath that sealed the Swedish club’s progress in the competition.
The second legs for the Round of 16 match-ups will take place next week on Nov. 13 and 14. See below for the full schedule of Champions League games involving NWSL players (home teams listed first):
