Washington, D.C. (05/30/2023) – The Washington Spirit will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community on the team’s annual Pride Night during Saturday night’s match versus Racing Louisville FC. Highlighting the evening’s Pride-themed festivities is a halftime drag performance, featuring over a dozen drag performers from around the DMV. It will be the largest halftime drag performance in NWSL history. *

Additional Pride activations around Audi Field will include a Pride-themed photo station at Spiritville on the East Concourse, as well as a Pride Flag giveaway to fans. The corner flags will also depict a Pride flag.
The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs will represent the Spirit’s Honorary Captains for Saturday’s game, including former Spirit player Gaby Vincent, who serves as the office’s Community Outreach and Relations Specialist.
WAMMIE Award-winning vocalist, Freddy Hall, will sing the National Anthem, while Gallaudet University Professors Ricardo Lopez and Guthrie Nutter will serve as the ASL interpreters.
