Boyds, Md., (10/10/19) – The Washington Spirit will head to Portland on Saturday, Oct. 12 for their final 2019 NWSL game. The Spirit will aim to finish out their season on a three-game win streak.
The Spirit defeated the Thorns 3-1 in May, but Portland evened the series in August with a 3-1 victory over Washington. The team will travel to Providence Park and look to get their first-ever win on the road against Portland.
Here are some of the most important stats to keep an eye on as the Spirit take on Portland this weekend.

Washington has produced 10 shots on target in their last two games, and converted half of those shots into goals. The Spirit’s precise finishing has been key in their two consecutive wins, as their opponents have produced 12 shots on target, but only converted two goals.
