Line Sigvardsen Jensen nominated for NWSL Goal of the Week

Washington Spirit midfielder Line Sigvardsen Jensen has been nominated for NWSL Goal of the Week.

The Denmark international netted her first career NWSL goal on a perfectly-place header in the 60th minute of Saturday’s 1-1 draw against the Orlando Pride, earning her one of four Goal of the Week nominations for Week 2 of the 2017 NWSL regular season.

Seattle’s Megan Rapinoe, Orlando’s Danica Evans and North Carolina’s Debinha each earned nominations as well.

Voting for the NWSL Goal of the Week is now underway on Twitter, and will close at 4:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
