Washington, D.C. (08/25/2026) — The Washington Spirit will host its first-ever Hello Kitty® Day at Audi Field this Sunday, August 30, when the team faces Bay FC at 12:30 p.m. ET. The celebration will be a first-of-its-kind collaboration for the Spirit, joining forces with the beloved global icon to bring a day of friendship, community and DC pride to Audi Field, with super cute fan activations throughout the stadium.
The day kicks off pre-game with a reversible “Spirit in Bloom” Hello Kitty® bucket hat gate giveaway for the first 5,000 fans. As fans enter Audi Field, they will be greeted with Hello Kitty-themed activities, such as a coloring and friendship bracelet station located on the concourse and a photo moment at the Hello Kitty-branded SPIRIT letters in Spiritville. During the game, fans can test their Hello Kitty knowledge with the Hello Kitty Trivia and show off their friends on the video board during the Friendship Cam segment.

The Washington Spirit continues to treat fans to unique and interactive themes and celebrations at Audi Field as it has built up a notable home-field advantage with high energy and record-breaking attendances in DC.
