Whether you’ve attended every Spirit match of the 2024 season or are attending your first, here’s everything you need to know for matchday:
GATES OPEN: 11:00 a.m. | KICKOFF: 12:30 p.m.
Help Line: At the stadium, fans can text Audi Field officials with any questions, concerns, or emergencies at 202-918-3838.
Mobile Tickets: Audi Field is a mobile-only venue. Before arriving, log into your Ticketmaster account or Account Manager and add your tickets to your Apple or Google Pay Wallet. Learn more here.
TRANSPORTATION
Please be prepared for increased traffic around Navy Yard due to an event at Nationals Park in the afternoon.
Metro: Audi Field can be accessed from both the Navy Yard-Ballpark and Waterfront stations. Parking is available at the Anacostia station just one stop away on the Green Line. Fans in needed of assistance can use the ADA shuttle that runs from the Navy Yard Metro stop to Audi Field starting pregame and running through postgame.
Biking: Two Wheel Valet allows fans to securely store their bike and helmets during the match. The valet is located at the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of 2nd and T St.
Parking: The Nationals Geico Garage at 1500 South Capitol Street SE will not be available for the Spirit due to a conflicting event at Nationals Park. You can book parking in Navy Yard and Buzzard Point in advance through SpotHero, the nation’s leading parking reservations app. To reserve your parking spot for Washington Spirit games, visit the Audi Field SpotHero Parking Page and book a spot with rates up to 50% off drive-up.
OUTSIDE THE STADIUM
Supporters: The Spirit Squadron and supporters will gather at Solace Outpost starting at 10:00 a.m. and march to the stadium at 11:15 a.m.
Outside Gate A: Good Company Doughnuts and Others Coffee will begin selling coffee, hot chocolate, pastries, and more at 11:00 a.m. The Sandlot Bar will also be open with free samples of Delola spritzes (must be 21 or older with ID present), and the CVS Health prize wheel returns alongside tailgate games and more!
AUDI FIELD POLICIES
Security: All guests must pass through a form of metal detection to enter the stadium. Guests declining to be searched will be denied access to the stadium.For full Audi Field policies and procedures, please review the Audi Field A-Z Guide.
Baggage Policy: Bags must be smaller than 14″ by 14″ by 6″, and no backpacks, coolers, or luggage are allowed. Fans with medical needs or diaper bags should email Audi Field’s Guest Experience and use Gate B to expedite entry. Learn more here.
Signage Policy: Per Audi Field policy, any signs, flags or banners may not contain or display any profane, offensive, graphic, obscene language, and/or pictures as determined by event management. Displaying signs, symbols or images for commercial purposes or for electioneering, campaigning or advocating for or against any candidate, political party, legislative issue, or government action are prohibited. All signs, banners, and flags must be approved by Audi Field management. In the event that a banner, flag, or sign does not meet the above guidelines, guests should be prepared to discard the item or return the item to their vehicle.
Per NWSL Policy, any sign, tifo, etc. that is offensive, explicit, racist, homophobic, is in bad taste, or is intended to incite undesirable actions will not be permitted in the venue. Team management reserves the right to deny banners, signs, or flags that they deem inappropriate, in the interests of fan and team safety.
AROUND THE CONCOURSE
Giveaway: The first 7,000 fans through the gates will receive a “Spirit vs. Everyone” flag.
Dead Dirt Stage: The Spirit’s Creative Director Domo Wells will host a stacked line up of musical artists on stage just inside Gate A including Foggieraw, Alex Vaughn, Mannywellz, Sam Pain, Marti, Trilla Kay, Bri Mafia, and Bast.
Spiritville: Located on the East Concourse, Spiritville will feature face painters, caricature artists, a soft play area for tots, an EAFC lounge, cornhole, and more!
Spirit Shop: Due to the large crowd expected, the Spirit Shop will have four locations around Audi Field: one in Spiritville, one on the west side of the stadium, one along the south endline, and one in the Events DC Club. Ticketed fans can shop online early using the stadium shop link sent via email, and then pick up their order at the Spirit Shop in Spiritville.
Halftime: “The Magnificent Marching Machine” of Morgan State University will bring the energy and pump up the crowd during halftime.
SUPPORTERS
Supporters March: The Spirit Squadron and supporters will gather at Solace Outpost starting at 10:00 a.m., then match to the stadium at 11:15 a.m. After entering the stadium at Gate A, the march will continue clockwise around the concourse until supporters arrive at the north endline.
Supporters Section: The north endline of Audi Field is our designated Spirit Supporters Section. Led by our supporters groups, fans in these sections chant loudly, play drums, wave flags, and may deploy smoke during the match. Opposing team fans and gear are not permitted in the Spirit Supporters Section. Sections 136-137 are SAFE STANDING ONLY sections. Please wear appropriate footwear and comfortable attire that will allow you to stand and cheer for the entirety of the match.
FOR PARENTS
Guests who need to nurse can use the Mamava Nursing Pod located just inside Gate A near Stroller Check-in. To access the pod, download the Mamava App on the App Store or Google Play Store then search by location to unlock the pod.
Fans who need to bring in diaper bags, pumps, or other essentials should email Audi Field’s Guest Experience and use Gate B to expedite entry.
ACCESSIBILITY
Guests with special needs or accessibility questions are encouraged to contact the Audi Field Guest Experience team prior to matchday. To learn more about the courtesy shuttle, sensory room, and accessible seating, click here.
Accessible Seating: Guests may contact a Guest Experience Supervisor upon arrival to the stadium, or stop by Guest Services located inside Gate A.
KultureCity Sensory Room: Fans with sensory sensitivities can take a break from the visual and auditory stimulations of matchday in the KultureCity Sensory Room located on the Heineken Rooftop.
Sensory Bags: Sensory bags are available while supplies last at Guest Services for any guest who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Each bag is equipped with noise canceling headphones provide by Puro Sound Labs, fidget tools, verbal cue cards produced in conjunction with Boardmaker, and weight lap pads.

POST-MATCH
Access: For the safety of players and guests, only Premium ticketholders (F1-12, C1-9, and S1-31) are allowed in sections F1-F12 along the east sideline after the match. General ticketholders wanting to get closer to the field after the match can head to sections 135-138.
Leaving the Stadium: Fans should be prepared for increased traffic when leaving the area due to an event at Nationals Park.
Bar Partners: Following the match, the fun will continue at Dacha Beer Garden and BlueJacket. Dacha will offer fans with tickets $5 Dachnik beers, while BlueJacket will offer a $15 Holy Trinity special including a burger, fries, and house lager.
