Watch Parties at The Bullpen in the Navy Yard will feature the U.S. Women’s National Team’s first two games

Washington, D.C. (07/11/2023) – The Washington Spirit invites all soccer fans to join the club around D.C., Maryland, and Virginia at watch parties to cheer on the seven Spirit players representing their respective countries during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup – Aubrey Kingsbury, Trinity Rodman, Ashley Sanchez, and Andi Sullivan (United States), Gabrielle Carle (Canada), Marissa Sheva (Ireland), and Riley Tanner (Panama).

Headlining these events will be two watch parties at The Bullpen located at 1201 Half Street SE,  featuring the United States Women’s National Team’s first two games on July 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET and July 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET. Big screens will broadcast every second of the action, so fans will not miss a moment of the game. Bring your jerseys, face paint, flags, and scarves and feel the energy of the greatest soccer the world has to offer. Please RSVP to the watch parties here. Please note that outside food, beverages, lawn chairs, and blankets will not be permitted.

In addition to the two watch parties at The Bullpen, the club has partnered with local bars and pubs to broadcast select matches that include Spirit players throughout the World Cup. Our bar and pub partners are:

  • Washington, D.C.: Astro Beer Hall – Official American Outlaws D.C. Bar, Wunder Garten, The Bullpen
  • Maryland: Tom’s Watch (National Harbor), The Canton Local (Baltimore) – Official American Outlaws Baltimore Bar
  • Virginia: Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Bar & Restaurant (Alexandria), O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub (Arlington)

For up-to-date information and full details on game schedules, locations, bar and pub partners, and countries, please visit the Spirit’s dedicated World Cup Page here.

As the USWNT prepares to win a third consecutive World Cup, Canada aims to back up its Olympic Gold, and Ireland and Panama embark on their first World Cup appearance. The Spirit wants fans to cheer on all our players during this summer’s World Cup and keep the excitement going when the players return to D.C.

The club announced this past offseason that all 14 home matches will be played for the first time at Audi Field in Buzzard Point, ensuring players and fans alike access to a facility befitting a professional club. Fans can secure tickets now to all remaining 2023 home games here.
