Washington, D.C., (07/13/2022) – The Washington Spirit has announced the club’s featured highlights for the July 17 game against the Orlando Pride.
Sunday’s match will feature honorary captains Senator Tim Kaine and Lidia Soto-Harmon, CEO of Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital. The Spirit is excited to host these two notable individuals for the honor of the game day coin toss. Sunday’s match will also feature the introduction of Spiritville, a dedicated pregame fan area where fans can gather ahead of every Spirit match at Audi Field. Spiritville will feature a tailgate zone with the first 1,000 beers free for fans age 21+, a kids zone, a ‘Get in the Spirit’ zone, a merchandise zone and a community zone. At the July 17 match, Spiritville will also include a special book signing with soccer icon Joanna Lohman. She will be signing copies of her highly-acclaimed book “Raising Tomorrow’s Champions”. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
On Sunday, select season ticket members will have exclusive access to a meet & greet with NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman, Washington Spirit Owner Michele Kang and soccer icon Joanna Lohman.
