Leesburg, Va., (04/05/2021) – The Washington Spirit has announced the final 22-player roster ahead of the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup Presented by Secret Deodorant.
Defenders Kelley O’Hara and Emily Sonnett and midfielder Andi Sullivan have been called up by the United States Women’s National Team for April friendlies against Sweden and France. Midfielder Saori Takarada has been called up to the Japan National Team ahead of April friendlies against Paraguay and Panama. Forward Mariana Speckmaier has been called up to the Venezuela National Team ahead of the Basque Country International Women’s Cup
Forward Averie Collins tore her ACL in late January and is rehabbing after successful knee surgery. Collins has been added to Season-Ending Injury Reserve.
