Boyds, MD (July 17, 2017) – Washington Spirit goalkeeper Stephanie Labbé has been nominated for NWSL Save of the Week for the 13th week of the 2017 NWSL season. Labbé earned the nomination this week for a sliding foot save on a point blank one-touch attempt by Rachel Daly off a cross in the 20th minute of Washington’s 2-1 road loss to the Houston Dash on Saturday night. The save was one of six made by Labbé during the game, bringing her total to 58 on the season, which is tied for the second-most in the NWSL.
