Boyds, MD (September 2, 2018) – Washington Spirit forward Arielle Ship netted her first goal since returning to the field following her recovery from a torn ACL in Sunday’s season finale against Sky Blue FC.
In just her second appearance of the season, Ship came off the bench in the second half and put the Spirit ahead 1-0 on a tap-in goal in the 71st minute of the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
