Boyds, MD (June 21, 2018) – The Washington Spirit has placed midfielder/forward Yanara Aedo on waivers.
The Chilean international signed an NWSL contract with Washington in June 2017 after playing for Spanish club Valencia the previous year.
Aedo was a member of the Washington Spirit Reserves from January 2015 to September 2016. She played a key role for the Spirit Reserves during the team’s run to the 2015 USL W-League championship, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over Colorado Pride in the title match.
