Line Sigvardsen Jensen plays full 90 for Denmark in 1-0 win over Belgium to open UEFA Women’s EURO

Boyds, MD (July 16, 2017) – Washington Spirit midfielder Line Sigvardsen Jensen played the full 90 minutes for the Denmark Women’s National Team in a 1-0 win over Belgium to begin the UEFA Women’s EURO on Sunday in the Netherlands. [FULL RECAP]

Sigvardsen Jensen contributed to the clean sheet effort, playing on the left side of the midfield while helping Denmark control possession and shutting down Belgium’s attacking unit. Another Danish midfielder, Sanne Troelsgaard netted the only goal of the match in the 6th minute.
